The 1988-89 season was the sixth for Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler in the NBA as the former University of Houston guard had an outstanding season. Drexler averaged 27.2 points per game for the Portland Trail Blazers as began establishing himself as one of the premier players in all of basketball. Drexler wore this home white Blazers jersey during the 1988-89 season and this white mesh jersey features “blazers” and Drexler’s “22” sewn on the front in red and black tackle twill. Two diagonal stripes (red and black) run across the front of this jersey below the wordmark and number and the NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left chest. The front left tail has a “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS Sand-Knit MacGregor” tag, along with a MacGregor Sand-Knit 42” tag and “88” and “3”LB” patches. The back has “DREXLER” and “22” sewn on in red and black tackle twill with the rounded collar and open sleeves having red and black border stripes. This jersey displays heavy game use and comes with a LOA from MEARS (317917) for the game use and has been given their highest grade of A10.
