Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had his number “33” retired by the Los Angeles Lakers on March 20th, 1990. Abdul-Jabbar was one of the Lakers greatest ever players, retiring as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and a six-time MVP. Offered here is a Lakers home jersey worn by Abdul-Jabbar during his final season of 1988-89 and was the jersey presented to Kareem by the Lakers for the number retirement ceremony. This yellow jersey is framed with “Abdul-Jabbar” and “33” visible. This Sand-Knit jersey was manufactured by MacGregor and is a size 44. The tags are located on the bottom front left tail with the MacGregor tag and "4" LB" flag and "88" patch sewn on. The jersey has been mounted in a frame that measures 30 x 42 inches. This item derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item. The jersey may be shipped in its current frame or without the frame per customer request.
