Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar’s first five seasons in the Major Leagues were split between the San Diego Padres and Toronto Blue Jays. In those five seasons, Alomar combined for a .291 batting average, 39 home runs and 302 RBI and culminated with the second baseman’s .310 average and 76 RBI in 1992 when he helped lead the Toronto Blue Jays to their first of back-to-back World Series titles.
Alomar used this Cooper S318 model bat during the 1988 through 1992 seasons. This bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks, stitch impressions ink transfers present on the barrel. The handle has a light coating of Mota Stick and green bat rack streaks. Alomar’s now retired number “12” is hand-written in black marker on the knob. This is a terrific opportunity to own an early-career gamer from one of baseball’s best players. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15347) and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5. Please note that this lot has a 25% Buyer’s Premium.
