Offered is a President George H. W. Bush signed and inscribed Official National League A. Bartlett Giamatti stamped baseball given to the late California Angels owner Gene Autry at a Los Angeles Dodgers game in 1988.  Bush, who was still serving as Vice President under President Ronald Reagan at the time, has signed his name in black marker on the sweet spot and inscribed “10-12-88” below his signature. He has inscribed “Gene – Respect – Best Wishes” above the sweet spot. This item comes with a LOA from Jacqueline Autry, Gene Autry’s widow, as well as a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A64854).
