Recently elected Hall of Famer Harold Baines was the first full-time designated hitter but was still playing in the field during the 1988 season. 1988 was the last full season with the Chicago White Sox for Baines, who hit 13 home runs, drove in 81 and had a .277 batting average. This offered Rawlings PRO 2-BF-B model glove displays moderate game use. There is wear shown on the pocket and palm. The Rawlings tag is sewn on in red on the outside of the lower fingers and the Rawlings “R” logo is sewn on the outside of the thumb and Baines’ number “3” is handwritten in black marker on the red circle. Baines has signed his name in silver marker on the outside of the thumb and inscribed “#3”. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00569) for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (H39753) for the signature.
