Pete Rose wore this red mesh pullover Cincinnati Reds batting practice jersey in 1988 as the manager of the squad. Rose, who recently wrapped up a record-breaking MLB career, managed in 134 of the Reds games in 1988, leading the team to a 75-59 record in games he managed. Overall, the Reds went 87-74 in 1988 and finished in second place in the National League West. This batting practice jersey has the Reds logo sewn on the chest and “ROSE” and his number “14” sewn on the back of the jersey in white tackle twill. The sleeves and collar are accented with a red and white design. A Rawlings size “44” tag with an attached “Set 1 1988” flag is sewn on the inside tail of this jersey. This batting practice jersey shows moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
