Michael Jordan wore this Chicago Bulls home jersey during the 1989-90 NBA season, his sixth season in the NBA. Jordan led the league in scoring for the fourth consecutive season, pouring in 33.6 points per contest under first-year head coach Phil Jackson. The talented shooting guard would extend his streak of leading the league in scoring to seven seasons and adding three more scoring titles after his first retirement in 1993-94. Jordan also paced the NBA in steals, with 2.8 per game, and added 6.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game as the do-it-all leader for the ascendant Bulls. Chicago made the Eastern Conference Finals in 1989-90, taking the eventual Finals champion Detroit Pistons to seven games. “MJ” was an All-Star again in 1989-90 and was named to both the All-NBA First Team and the All-Defensive First Team.

This now cream-colored white home mesh jersey has “BULLS” and Jordan’s iconic number “23” screen printed on the chest in red and black text and numerals. “JORDAN” is screen printed across the back shoulders in red text above a second “23”. An NBA logo patch is sewn on the upper left chest of this jersey. MacGregor Sand-Knit size “44 and “Designed Exclusively for the Chicago Bulls” tags are sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. “89” and “2” L.B” tags are sewn next to the two aforementioned tags. This jersey matches all specifications for a Sand-Knit Michael Jordan gamer. This jersey comes with a Letter of Provenance from Ronald Davidson, who was in business with Michael Jordan’s father James in the early 1990s and acquired this jersey during that time. This jersey also comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have graded this jersey a perfect A10.
