Former Pittsburgh Pirates star Bobby Bonilla wore this home Pirates uniform (jersey and pants) during the 1989 season when he hit 24 home runs, had 86 RBI and batted a solid .281. Bonilla’s white pullover jersey was made by Rawlings and is a size 46. “PIRATES” and “25” are sewn on the front in black and yellow tackle twill. The inside front left tail has the size 46 Rawlings tag with the “SET 1 1989” flag attached. The back of the jersey has “BONILLA” sewn on in black and yellow tackle twill on a matching white nameplate, with his number “25” sewn on in the same black and yellow tackle twill below. The right sleeve has “50th Anniversary Hall of Fame” patch, while the left sleeve has the Pirates’ logo patch. The collar and sleeve ends are bordered in a black/yellow/black striping pattern.

The matching white pants are a Rawlings size 36 waist and have a black/yellow/black waistband and the same striping pattern down the sides of the legs. The Pirates team tag is sewn on the inner waist band and it reads “BONILLA 88 36-37 34”. The pants display moderate game use with a faded blood stain on back legs. This uniform set (jersey and pants) come with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication for the game use.
