Hall of Fame shortstop Cal Ripken Jr. wore this black Baltimore Orioles cap during the 1989 MLB season. Ripken, in his ninth MLB season, hit 21 homers with 93 RBI as he led the Orioles to an 87-75 record and a second-place finish in the AL East. Ripken made the seventh of his 19 career All-Star Games in 1989. Ripken has signed the underside of the brim of this size 7 3/8 cap in blue marker. This cap shows excellent use. Ripken’s number “8” is written on the underside of the brim in black marker. This cap comes with a LOA from JT Sports for game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A74083) for the signature.
