This offered Official National League William D. White baseball has been signed by 22 members of the Hall of Fame. Obtained directly from the family of Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr, this baseball was signed at the Hall of Fame induction weekend in Cooperstown in 1989.
The signatures on this baseball have all been signed in bold black pen and feature Rick Ferrell and Red Schoendienst on the sweet spot. The north panel has the signatures of Ted Williams, Joe Sewell, Stan Musial, Harmon Killebrew and Bob Lemon. The east panel has the signatures of Carl Yastrzemski, Billy Herman, Bob Feller and Brooks Robinson. The west panel has the signatures of Charles Gehringer (signed “Chas. Gehringer), Bobby Doerr, Monte Irvin, Enos Slaughter and Ralph Kiner. The south panel has the signatures of Robin Roberts, Al Barlick, Johnny Mize, Pee Wee Resse, Billy Williams and Al Lopez. This is an incredible collection of baseball’s greatest players and the ball itself is in excellent condition displaying only slight toning, giving it a cream-colored look. The black stampings are still very bold. This baseball comes with a LOA from the family of Bobby Doerr and a LOA from PSA/DNA.
