Harold Baines was swinging this bat in 1989 when he divided the season between the White Sox and Rangers, batting .309 with 72 RBI, earning himself a spot on the All-Star Game roster and his first and only Silver Slugger Award. The Rawlings 369B model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. Many ball marks with stitch impressions are found on all sides of the barrel along with blue ink transfers, white leather ball scuffs and cleat imprints. The impression of a weighted batting donut can be seen along with green bat rack paint streaks. The lower handle and knob have been taped to enhance the grip and a moderate coat of pine tar was applied. The model number “369B,” order “26” and year “09” are stamped into the knob. Baines’ number “3” is written on the knob in silver and the Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in silver, adding the notation, “Game Used 1989.” The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16370) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a COA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
