The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this Sports Illustrated 35th Anniversary Guest of Honor Tiffany & Co. clock in 1989. Sports Illustrated began in 1954, with an image of Eddie Mathews gracing the inaugural cover, and it featured Kareem on the cover over 20 times. Abdul-Jabbar was named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year in 1985. This offered Tiffany & Co. clock was made in West Germany. It is circular, with a white face and gold body, while the numerals are printed on the face in Roman numerals. Etched on the top of the clock is the SI logo and “35th Anniversary Guest of Honor / November 8, 1989 / Kareem Abdul-Jabbar”. The watch is battery powered, however no battery is included with this clock. This item has a diameter of 2.75 inches and it comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
