The hero of the 1988 World Series used this bat during 1990 and 1991 when he hit .260 and .236 in injury shortened seasons. The Cooper WC137 model bat displays outstanding use with a handle crack. The bat straddles Gibson’s time with the Dodgers and Royals as his LA number “23” and KC number “30” are present on the knob end. The World Series hero has signed the barrel in contrasting gold marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16642) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a COA from JSA for the signature.
