Fred Lynn is best known for being the first player to win MLB's Rookie of the Year Award and Most Valuable Player Award in the same year in 1975 with the Red Sox. The center-fielder was a nine time All Star who's 306 career home runs place him in 13th place among center fielders. He played in Major League Baseball for a total of 17 seasons, from 1974 to 1990. During his final season in the big leagues he collected his career total hits 306th career Home Run, 1,111 RBI, and 1,063rd run scored.

This Big Stick bat shows ball marks, stitch imprints, as well as possesses the number "8" written on the barrel end and has been signed in Silver on the barrel by Lynn. The signature does show smudging as evidenced by the photos, but overall the bat is an excellent representation of a game used Fred Lynn bat from his final season as a player in professional baseball. The autograph has been authenticated by Beckett and the game use has been evaluated by PSA/DNA in which it has received a grade of GU 8 and comes with a full letter of authenticity.
