Former New York Mets closer John Franco was a 21-year pro and four-time All-Star and currently ranks fifth on the all-time saves list with 424. Franco wore this Rawlings size 42 home New York Mets pullover jersey during the 1990 season, his debut season with the Mets, in which the lefty recorded 33 saves. “Mets” and Franco’s number “31” are sewn on the front of the jersey in blue and orange tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “FRANCO” and “31” sewn on in blue and orange tackle twill. There are blue and orange stripes that are on the sides and run from the collar to the sleeve ends. The V-neck collar is blue and the Rawlings tag is sewn on the inside front left tail, along with the team patch that reads “90 2 31”. Franco signed his name in black marker on the upper left chest. This jersey displays light to moderate game use with some small stains on the back. This jersey comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (D84666) and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
