The Hall of Fame centerfielder Kirby Puckett wore this black Wilson A2000 fielder’s glove during the 1990 MLB season. Puckett, in his age-30 season, made his fifth of 10 consecutive All-Star appearances, hitting .298 with 12 homers and 80 RBI. The career .318 hitter crushed 40 doubles in 1990 and hit his 100th career home run on May 12th of 1990 against Mark Knudson of the Milwaukee Brewers. Puckett retired due to ocular issues after the 1995 season and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001.
This offered Wilson A2000 fielder’s glove is constructed of black leather. A Wilson tag is sewn on the wrist strap, while a circular Wilson logo is located on the back of the thumb. “Kirby Puckett” is embroidered in red on the back of the thumb. Puckett has signed the palm of this glove in silver marker, adding “#34” to his signature. This glove comes with a LOA from JSA (Z90385) for Puckett’s signature and a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00487) for the game use.
