Offered is a Nolan Ryan signature and inscription on an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball. The Hall of Fame pitcher has signed his name in blue ink, “Nolan Ryan,” to the right of the blue-stamped Rawlings logo on the “sweet spot,” with the inscription, also in blue ink to the right of his signature, “Game Ball 300th Win 7/31/90.” The ball appears to be game-used. On Tuesday, July 31, 1990 at Milwaukee’s County Stadium, Ryan pitched 7 2/3 innings to help the Texas Rangers to a 11-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. The hard-throwing right-hander owns the Major League Record for career years played, 27 years (1966, 1968-1993), pitching for four different MLB teams – the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros and Texas Rangers. Inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1999, Ryan had a 324-292 career record and was an eight-time MLB All-Star. His 5,714 career strikeouts rank first in baseball history by a significant margin. This item is accompanied by a COA from JSA (R66236).
