Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan pitched 7 2/3 innings to help the Texas Rangers to a 11-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on July 31, 1990 at Milwaukee’s County Stadium and making history by winning his 300th career game. Offered is an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball that has been signed by Ryan in blue pen across the sweet spot and inscribed on the adjacent panel “Game Ball 300th Win 7/31/90.” The ball displays excellent game use with dirt marks and other abrasions. The hard-throwing right-hander owns the Major League record for career years played, 27 years (1966, 1968-1993), pitching for four different MLB teams – the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros and Texas Rangers. Inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1999, Ryan had a 324-292 career record and was an eight-time MLB All-Star. His 5,714 career strikeouts rank first in baseball history by a significant margin. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA (BB33556) for Ryan’s signature and noted that the inscription was “penned in an unknown hand.”
