In 1991, one of the seasons this bat dates to, Kirby Puckett almost single-handedly won the World Championship for the Twins, hitting 15 home runs, 89 RBI, and a recording .319 batting average. From 1991 to 1995, Puckett hit 99 home runs and hit the ball at a .315 clip, leading the AL with 210 hits in 1992 and RBIs in 1994. The Louisville Slugger C243 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The back barrel shows some slight checking from repeated ball contact along with many ball marks and scuffs. The knob end has Puckett’s number “34” and “All Star” handwritten in marker and his number is repeated in silver marker on the barrel end. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16187) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
