This bat dates from the heart of Tony Gwynn’s reign as the nemesis of NL pitching. “Mr. Padre” hit a tremendous .350 with 1029 hits and made the All-Star team all six years this bat dates from. The bat shows light use with some ball marks visible on the barrel. The lower handle and knob has been taped to enhance the grip and a light coat of pine tar in on the upper handle. The Padres legend and Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13705) for the game use and a LOA from PSA/DNA for signature.
