New York Knicks shooting guard John Starks wore this blue road jersey during the 1991-92 NBA season. Starks, in his second season at the Garden, averaged 13.9 points and 3.4 assists per game in a sixth man role for the Eastern Conference semi-finalists. Starks played 13 seasons in the NBA, earning the Sixth Man of the Year award in 1996-97 and finishing his career with 10,829 points.
This blue jersey has “NEW YORK” and Starks’ number “3” sewn on the chest in orange and white tackle twill. “STARKS” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill, while a second “3” is sewn on the back of the jersey in orange and white tackle twill. A “1991 Body Length +2” tag and a Champion size “44” tag is sewn on the front left tail. A NBA Logo patch is sewn on the left shoulder. The sleeves and collar of this jersey are accented with an orange and white pattern. This jersey shows moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
