Brazilian race car driver Ayrton Senna is considered one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all-time. Senna, who had 41 victories in his career, was just 34 years old when he died while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. His passing was considered a national tragedy in his native Brazil as the government declared three days of national mourning.
This offered shirt was worn by Senna during the 1991 Formula GP Race. This long sleeve shirt is made of cotton and features numerous sponsors. The front of this now off-white shirt has “Dirt Factory”, a large “1”, “McLaren Nacional”, “Marlboro” printed on the white half, with “POWERED by HONDA” on the red portion of the lower half. The back of the shirt has “A. SENNA” and the “Marlboro” logo, along with the “Goodyear” logo and the lower quarter in red with “POWERED by HONDA” in blue print. The left and right sleeves have “Shell”, “LONGINES” and “Marlboro” printed. This shirt displays excellent use with some dirt spots and toning. This item comes with a LOA from Alexandre Silva Da Silveira, a longtime Brazil National Team Soccer Coordinator that worked in the CBF (Football Brazilian Confederation).
