One of only four players in the history of baseball to have 500 home runs and 3,000 hits, Eddie Murray is one of the best sluggers the game has ever seen. 1991 was Murray’s 15th season in the Major League and third and final season with the Los Angeles Dodgers. At the age of 35, Murray was still producing as he belted 19 home runs, drove in 96 and maintained a .260 average.
This offered Louisville Slugger M275 model bat was used by the Hall of Famer Murray during the 1991 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, ball stitch marks and cleat impressions that are visible on the barrel. The handle has a moderate coating of pine tar and the handle and lower handle has six tape rings to enhance the grip. These distinctive handle preparations have been logged by PSA/DNA in five other instances of Eddie Murray bats throughout his career. Murray’s number “33” has been hand written in black marker on the knob and top barrel. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11129) and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
