This bat dates from Frank Thomas' second year in the Majors in which the big man hit .318 with 32 home runs and 109 RBI. He led the American League in on-base percentage and won the first of four Silver Slugger Awards. The Big Hurt's Louisville Slugger C243 model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. There is slight checking on the barrel from repeated ball contact. Thomas’ number “35” is hand written on the knob end in black marker. Best of all, The Big Hurt has signed the barrel in black marker, adding his number “35”.
