When you think of the Astros of the 1990's and 2000's, you automatically think of Jeff Bagwell. For over 15 years Bags held down first base for the 'Stros, becoming that rare species of ballplayer who spends their entire career with a single team. This un-cracked natural finished Worth bat was game used by Bagwell during his rookie year in which his .294 with 15 homers and 82 RBI won him the NL's Rookie of the Year honors. This Worth Jeff Bagwell model bat shows good game use with ball marks and blue ink transfers visible throughout the barrel. There are many bat rack paint streaks and contact scuffs from storage with other bats. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and both ends of this bat has Bagwell's number "5" hand written in black marker. The Astros slugger has signed the barrel in black marker making this a great game used piece from the NL's Rookie of the Year. A LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11007) who have graded the bat a GU 8.5 and a sticker for the signature (Z94855).
