Former Chicago Cubs outfielder Jerome Walton wore this road Cubs jersey during the 1991 MLB season. Walton, the 1989 National League Rookie of the Year, appeared in 123 games in ’91, hitting five home runs with 17 RBI.
This jersey features “CHICAGO” sewn across the front in blue on white tackle twill. Walton’s number “20” is sewn on the front and back in red, blue, and white tackle twill. “WALTON” is sewn across the shoulders in blue on white tackle twill. A circular Cubs patch is sewn on the left sleeve, with a circular bear logo patch sewn on the right. A Rawlings size “44” tag, along with a “20 91 2 44T” tag, is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey shows light to moderate signs of game use. Walton signed the front of this jersey in black marker, adding the inscription “1991 Gamer”.
