Playing alongside his father for the second and last time in 1991, Ken Griffey, Jr. won the first of seven Silver Slugger Awards. He hit a nice .327 and smashed 22 home runs for the year. Griffey’s 1991 game used Louisville Slugger C271 model bat displays tremendous game use. The barrel is covered with ball marks with white leather scuffs and cleat imprints. The handle has been taped in a crisscross pattern and a coat of pine tar applied. There some chipping to the black surface and the Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B09553) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
