This offered St. Louis Cardinals pullover jersey was worn by Ozzie Smith during the 1991 season. This jersey features the classic “Cardinals” with a golden bat with two cardinals perched on each end sewn across the chest in red, navy and gold chenille stitching. Smith’s number “1” is sewn on in red and navy tackle twill on the center left chest and the Rawlings size 40 and “T” tags, with “1 inch” and “SET 1 1991” flags are sewn on the inside front left tail. The back of the jersey has “O. SMITH” sewn on in red and navy tackle twill on a matching white nameplate and his number “1”, which is also sewn on in red and navy tackle twill. The V-neck collar has a navy, white and red striping pattern while the sleeve ends have red, white and navy striping pattern. The Rawlings logo is embroidered in white on the navy left sleeve end. This jersey displays moderate game use with staining and toning present and some fading on the tackle twill numbers and letters. This jersey has been photo matched by Photo-Matching & Grading, Inc to the 1991 season and this item also comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
