Hall of Fame leftfielder Rickey Henderson made the American League All-Star team in 1991 following his 1990 American League MVP-winning campaign. Henderson also became the all-time stolen base leader, when he swiped his 939th base on May 1st, 1991. This offered Oakland A’s helmet was worn by Henderson during the 1991 season. This size 7 ¼ helmet was manufactured by American Baseball Cap (ABC) and is dark green with a yellow brim. “A’s” is affixed to the front of the helmet in a white decal.

The back of the helmet has Henderson’s number “24” stickered in white and next to his number are two decals of an American flag and Canadian flag. These decals cover the ABC logo. The tan interior padding is still intact and Henderson’s number “24” is handwritten in blue marker on the inside padding of the ear flap, which is on the left ear. This helmet displays heavy game use, with numerous scratches and abrasions. Henderson signed his name in blue marker on the yellow brim. This helmet comes with a LOA from MEARS (315689) for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (F33853) for the signature.
