A 15 year veteran of Major League Baseball, Terry Pendleton often reached the summit of the sport, having competed in 5 World Series. Coming up with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1984 Pendleton quickly broke into the league hitting .424 with 20 SB in only 67 games. He would go on to play in two World Series with the Cardinals in 1985 & 1987 and then elected for free agency in 1990 and quickly signed with the Braves. In 1991, Pendleton won the batting crown along with league MVP honors edging out Barry Bonds and led the Braves to the World Series. He went 11 for 30, hit 2 home runs, and started at third for all 7 games. In Game 7 of the series, Pendleton hit a double in the eighth inning that should have scored a run, however Lonnie Smith did not advance home, and a double play to end the inning kept the score at 0–0, leading to the Braves' eventual Game 7 defeat and Pendleton's third Game 7 World Series loss in a row.

This jersey was worn during the World Series against Minnesota in which the Braves were defeated in seven games. The seasons MVP led Atlanta to a clinching game in the World Series and fell just shy after almost being the hero moments earlier. This road Atlanta Braves gamer features the World Series patch and comes directly from the collection of Terry Pendleton. A letter of authenticity from Terry Pendleton will accompany the jersey.
