This bat was used by Twins legend and Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett during the final four seasons of his career. While many players would be winding down, Puckett was still coming on strong, batting a nice .314 for those last four years and leading the league in hits in 1992 and RBI in 1994. The Louisville Slugger P339 model bat exhibits outstanding use with a repaired handle crack. There are many ball marks with stitch impressions that are found on the barrel, along with blue ink transfers. Cleat imprints are on the barrel and a light coat of pine tar is still found on the handle. Puckett’s number “34” has been hand written on the knob in silver marker. A letter of authenticity accompanies the bat from Jason Bauer, Twins clubhouse shop employee, stating that the bat was acquired directly from the Minnesota Twins. The bat also comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11533) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
