Ozzie Smith was putting the finishing touches on his Hall of Fame career when he was using this bat during the 1992-1995 seasons. He hit a combined .276 for the Cardinals while swiping 74 bases. A true fan favorite and always ready with a helping hand, Smith’s kind-hearted nature was recognized in 1995 with the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award. The Louisville Slugger R161 model bat shows moderate game use. The barrel shows several ball marks with scuffs and there are ink transfers and bat rack paint streaks throughout. The knob end has Smith’s number “1” and the bats weight and length in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18447) for the game use.
