Detroit Pistons point guard Isiah Thomas wore this white home uniform during the 1992-93 season. Thomas, playing in his penultimate year, averaged 17.6 points and 8.5 assists per game as he made the 12th and final All-Star Game of his Hall of Fame career. The former Indiana Hoosier finished his career after the 1993-94 season, retiring with averages of 19.2 points and 9.3 assists per game.
Offered in this lot are Thomas’ jersey and shorts from the 1992-93 season. The jersey is white, with red and blue accents. “PISTONS” and Thomas’ number “11” are printed on the chest in red and blue. A second “11” is printed on the back in red and blue, while “THOMAS” is printed across the back shoulders in blue tackle twill. A Pistons “Body Length +2” and Champion size “42” tags are sewn on the front left tail. A NBA logo patch is sewn on the left chest.
The shorts are white, with a red, white, and blue waistband and a red, white, and blue stripe going down each leg. A NBA logo patch is sewn on the front right leg. A Champion size “34” tag is sewn on the back inside waistband. Thomas’ number “11” is written in black marker on the tag. This uniform shows light wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema, along with a LOA from a retired employee of the Detroit Pistons.
