Barry Bonds, baseball’s all-time home run leader, spent the last of his seven seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1992, where he won the National League MVP. Bonds, for the last time, also represented the Pirates at the 1992 All-Star Game in San Diego where he went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored while wearing this offered Pirates home jersey.
Bonds’ home white Pirates jersey is a Rawlings size 44 and features “PIRATES” sewn on in across the chest in black and yellow tackle twill, with Bond’s number “24” sewn on the center front left chest. “BONDS” is sewn on in black and yellow on a matching white nameplate on the back of the jersey along with his number “24”, which is sewn on in black and yellow tackle twill directly to the jersey. The Rawlings size 44 and, along with the “SET 1 1992” flag are sewn on the inside front left tail. Each sleeve has a ribbed black/yellow/black pattern and the left sleeve has a “Pirates” diamond logo patch sewn on, while the right sleeve has the “1992 All-Star Game” logo patch sewn on. This jersey displays moderate game use with some toning in the jersey and loose threads on the sewn-on numbers and letters.
Adding to this already wonderful gamer from Bonds are 30+ signatures from All-Stars from the 1992 game. Signatures include Hall of Famers Tony Gwynn, Ryne Sandberg, Bobby Cox, Wade Boggs, Lee Smith, Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, Cal Ripken, Jr., Ozzie Smith, John Smoltz, Dennis Eckersley, Ken Griffey Jr., Craig Biggio, Roberto Alomar, Paul Molitor, Joe Torre and Willie Mays. Other signatures include David Cone, Fred McGriff, Carlos Baerga, Leo Mazzone, Mike Sharperson, Dennis Martinez, Andy Van Slyke, Joe Carter, Ron Gant, John Kruk, Bob Tewksbury, Doug Jones, Hal McRae and several others. An incredible game used jersey signed by several Hall of Famers. This comes with a signed LOA from Barry Bonds for the game use and a LOA from JSA (BB34329) for the signatures.
