The 1992 Duke Blue Devils were the No. 1 ranked team all season, and won their second consecutive National Championship. The season was highlighted by the greatest game in college basketball history, the exciting 104-103 buzzer beater over Kentucky in the East Regional final. This is a salesman's sample ring created to commemorate that second straight title. The face features a number "1" with seven CZ stones, set atop a large blue stone. The words "DUKE BACK TO BACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 91 92" appears on the perimeter. One shank has the name "KRZYZEWSKI" with a large "D" set on a basketball. The other shank has the "ACC CHAMPIONS" across the top with the ACC seal and their overall record of "34-2." With the band of this 10K solid gold size 10.5/36 gram ring is the manufacturer name "JOSTENS 10K". This salesman's sample ring is from one of the greatest college basketball teams Duke University has produced. Near Mint condition.
