Encapsulated and graded NM+ 7.5 by BGS, with signature graded "8" by Beckett. Hall of Famer. The Yankees' superstar shortstop has placed a bold ink signature across this commemorative's obverse depiction. While the back states that this is one of just 250 autographed copies produced, this is a scarce unsigned proof version, often considered one of the rarest of Jeter rookie cards. Jeter has signed the front in blue with his later career signature. Centering 9, Corners 9, Edges 9, Surface 6.5. The card projects a barely touched appearance. Jeter, selected for enshrinement at Cooperstown in 2020, was a nearly unanimous, first-ballot selectee. Near Mint-plus condition.
