Encapsulated and graded GEM MT 10 by PSA, with signature assessed "Authentic" by PSA/DNA. Hall of Famer, in a very early card appearance. Jeter spent all 20 years of his career with the New York Yankees, winning five World Series titles including in 1996, his first full Major League Baseball season. He was part of the Yankees dynasty that won three straight World Series from 1998-2000, and became known as Captain Clutch and Mr. November for his Postseason heroics. Jeter ended his career as New York’s all-time hits leader (3,465) surpassing all-time greats such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio.
Among nearly 1,000 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, barely seven percent have been placed at this elite tier. Of the autographed versions of this card, just six have been given a Gem Mint rating. Derek Jeter has penned a bold ink signature on the obverse of this captivating "High School Prospects" collectible in one of his earliest trading cards. Gem Mint condition.
