Presented is a 1992 NBA Challenge Most Valuable Player plaque for the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Orlando Magic game played on October 30, 1992. The ½ x 9 x 12-inch brown wood award features a 7 x 10-inch gold metal plaque with black finish, engraved with the legend “NBA Challenge Presents Most Valuable Player Award Minnesota Timberwolves vs Orlando Magic October 30, 1992 Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Rapid City, S.D.”. At the top center of the metal plaque is a second gold metal plaque with a black silk-screened logo for “Gold Dust Deadwood, SD”. The Magic and the Timberwolves travelled to Rapid City, South Dakota for an exhibition game on October 30, 1992, and Magic forward Nick Anderson was voted “MVP” of that contest. Please note that the front of the gold metal plaque is scratched in the lower right edge, left center edge and lower center.
