By 1992, Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan was entering his 26th season in the Major Leagues at the age of 45 and was still a force on the mound. The “Ryan Express” had 27 starts, throwing 157 1/3 innings, striking out 157 batters and carried a respectable 3.72 ERA. Ryan would finish his Hall of Fame career in 1993 as the all-time leader in strikeouts with 5,714 and recorded an all-time best seven no-hitters.

This offered set includes a home size 44 W.A. Goodman & Sons Texas Rangers white button-down jersey and a matching pair of white pants, all worn by Ryan during the 1992 season. The jersey features “Rangers” in cursive script and a paraph, sewn on across the front in blue and red tackle twill. Ryan’s number “34” is sewn on the front left chest in blue and red tackle twill. The Goodman tag is sewn on the inside back collar. The back of the jersey has “RYAN” sewn on in blue tackle twill, above his number “34”, which is sewn on in blue and red tackle twill. The jersey shows light game use and displays slight toning.

The matching all-white game pants were also manufactured by W.A. Goodman & Sons. The Goodman tag is sewn on the inner back waist lining, along with the team tag that reads “RYAN 34-25 ’92 SET 8”. The number “2” is handwritten in black marker between the Goodman and team tags. The pants a single button with a zipper on the front and two back pockets. These pants display light wear. This lot comes with a LOA from MEARS (314649) for the game use, who have graded the jersey a perfect A10 and have graded the pants as AUTHENTIC.
