Presented here is a 10K gold 1992 Orlando Thunder World Football League Division Champions ring, manufactured by Terryberry. During the regular season, the Thunder won eight games against only two defeats, with the losses coming by a combined three points. In the postseason, Orlando crushed the Birmingham Fire, 45-7, to reach World Bowl II. This was payback, as the Fire defeated the Thunder, 24-23, in the regular season. Ultimately, Orlando lost to the Sacramento Surge in the title game, 21-17. Quarterback Scott Mitchell passed for 2,213 yards and 12 touchdowns during the 1992 regular season. Mitchell would go on to play in the NFL for a decade, leading the Detroit Lions to the playoffs in 1995 (passing for 4,338 yards and 32 TDs) and again in 1997.

The ring’s face features a large CZ in the center, set on a dark stone, with smaller simulated stones set around it. “ORLANDO THUNDER 1992 WORLD BOWL II” is displayed around the perimeter in relief work. The ring’s left shank features the Thunder team logo, above which appears the word “QUARTERBACK” in a banner; “WORLD LEAGUE” is shown at the bottom. Mitchell’s name and number 19 - on the image of a football helmet - appear on the opposite side of the band. Inside the band bears the manufacturer and 10K stamps.
