Ozzie Smith, the Cardinals legend and Hall of Famer, used this bat on the way to a .295 season in 1992. Smith added 20 doubles 43 stolen bases as he recorded his last fully-productive season in the Majors. The Louisville Slugger C235 shows great game use. The barrel is covered with ball marks, ink transfers and bat rack paint streaks. There is the impression of a weighted batting donut visible and the handle has a coat of pine tar. The barrel end has been marked with Smith’s number “1” and the bats weight and length in black marker. Smith’s number is repeated on the knob in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18452) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
