In the days before the NHL began sending players to the Olympics in 1998, the U.S. hockey team comprised completely of college players fared well with an unbeaten record in its first six games but fell just short of acquiring a medal finishing fourth at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, Canada. This Josten’s size 11.5, 31.4-gram 10K gold ring has the five Olympic rings engraved in gold into a square red amethyst stone on its top with “USA Olympic Hockey Team,” and four gold stars around the perimeter. Right shank is engraved with USA Hockey team logo with 1992 Olympics logo and “Albertville” on the opposite side. Pristine, like-new ring.
