Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas was presented with this 1992 Mackey Award for leading the American Football Conference in touchdowns. Thomas scored 12 total touchdowns in 1992, finishing the season with 1,487 rushing yards and 626 receiving yards. Thomas led the Bills to the third of four consecutive Super Bowls in 1992, although Buffalo emerged from that stretch without a Lombardi Trophy. Thomas retired after the 2000 NFL season, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007.

This Mackey Trophy measures approximately 14 inches tall and is comprised of a silver football player standing on a cylindrical pedestal. “Thurman Thomas / Buffalo Bills / AFC Leading Scorer-Touchdowns / 1992 Mackey Award / National Football League Players Association” is etched on a plaque on the base. The trophy exhibits subtle weathering but is otherwise in great condition.
