After bouncing back and forth between the majors and minors for two summers, Hall of Famer Jim Thome was called up for good by Cleveland at the end of 1993. Thome spent 1994 getting in the swing of the big leagues before finally having his breakthrough season in 1995. The big first baseman hit .314 with 25 home runs as the Indians won the American League pennant with 100 victories. This Louisville Slugger I13 model bat displays moderate use with a handle crack and was used by Thome during the 1993-1995 seasons. The bat has the custom Galen finish that gives it a unique coloration. The handle has been wrapped with adhesive tape to enhance the grip and a moderate coat of pine tar applied. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15758) for the game use.
