After spending the 1986 to 1992 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates, home run king Barry Bonds signed a free agent contract with the San Francisco Giants. In his first season in Frisco, Bonds won the National League MVP Award, then over the next five seasons averaged 40 home runs, 108 RBI and a hit the ball at a .308 clip. Dating to those first five years with the Giants, Bonds’ 1993-97 Louisville Slugger H238 model bat displays outstanding use with a handle crack that has been secured and a chip missing from the crack. The barrel shows several ball marks and abrasions along with ink transfers. Bonds’ number “25” is handwritten on the knob in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16625) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.
