After a decade in Boston, 1993 saw Wade Boggs take the field in the pinstripes of the dreaded New York Yankees. Boggs continued to put up his Hall of Fame numbers, batting .302 in his first New York summer. In 1996 Boggs’ bat helped the Yankees win the World Series, something that eluded him during his Boston years.

This Louisville Slugger B349 model bat heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. Interestingly, one of the blue ink transfers clearly shows the Rawlings stamp – of course displaying backwards. There is a light coat of pine tar on the lower handle and center brand. Boggs’ number “12” is on the knob end and the Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in a fine-tipped black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15242) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a COA from Beckett Authentication (C99692) for the signature.
