For a time, it looked like Bo Jackson could do anything. As big a star on the gridiron as he was in the outfield, Jackson became a household name, even fronting his own line of Nike products. As could be expected, being a two-sport star had its consequences, and a hip injury suffered in the 1990 NFL Playoffs diminished his once boundless talents.

After hip replacement surgery, Jackson was picked up by the Chicago White Sox, and this Cooper J93 model bat dates to 1993-1994 seasons. Bo’s bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks, stitch marks and cleat impressions throughout the barrel. There is a heavy coating of pine tar on the handle and Jackson’s number “44” is hand written in faded black marker on the knob. Stamped onto the knob in black are the bat’s length “34” and weight “31 ½ OZ”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14550) and a LOA from former Major League pitcher Lee Smith for the game use.
