Forward Dennis Rodman twice earned NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards during his 14-year career spent with five teams. Rodman made his initial mark with the Detroit Pistons, where he helped guide the franchise to back-to-back titles in 1989 and 1990. Following his first seven seasons in the league, Rodman moved on to the San Antonio Spurs, where he played for two seasons.
Offered is the Spurs home white jersey is from his first season with San Antonio in 1993-94. The front of this size 44 Champion mesh white jersey has the tackle-twill “Spurs” stitched across the chest in black and silver. Below is Rodman’s number “10” sewn on in the same colors. The back of the jersey has “RODMAN” stitched on in black tackle-twill across the shoulders above the black and silver tackle twill “10.” The left front tail has two tags. The left tag contains the NBA logo underscored with Champion, and a Year/Size tag, “DESIGNED & TAILORED 1993 – 1994 EXCLUSIVELY FOR SAN ANTONIO SPURS BODY LENGTH +2.” The white right tag contains the Champion insignia and size 44, washing instructions embroidered in blue. Inside the left side seam are two, white “body Fabric” tags (100% Polyester), both faded. The NBA logo has been embroidered on the left shoulder and each side has a thick black stripe outlined in silver. The sleeve openings and collar have a ribbed material with black, white and silver striping patters. This jersey shows light game use and comes with a full LOA from Mears.
