Hall of Fame center Moses Malone wore this red warm up jacket during his second spell with the Philadelphia 76ers, in 1993-94. The former prep-to-pro spent this season as a backup to Charles Barkley and rookie Shawn Bradley, playing 11 minutes per game and providing veteran leadership off the bench. This was the second to last season in Malone’s career, and his fifth total with the 76ers after averaging 23.9 points and 13.4 rebounds per game with the team during the 1980s.
This jacket is a red, Champion, button down and short-sleeved warm up jacket, and features a Sixers logo printed on a starry ribbon on the left side of the jacket. “SIXERS” is printed on the back shoulders over a similarly patterned ribbon. Sewn on the back inside collar are Champion size “48” and 1993-94 NBA tags. Malone’s number “2” is written on each tag in black marker. This jacket shows light to moderate wear, and is accompanied by a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
