In his fifth big league season at just 23, Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. joined the ranks of baseball’s elite players in 1993 knocking a career-to-date high of 45 home runs with 109 RBI and an American League leading 359 total bases and was named to his fourth of what would be 11-straight American League All-Star teams. “Junior” wore this Seattle Mariners road gray button-down jersey during the 1993 season.

This size 46 Russell Athletic jersey features “SEATTLE” sewn on across the chest in navy blue, teal green and white tackle twill. Navy blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The back of the jersey has “GRIFFEY” sewn on in navy blue and teal green tackle twill on a matching gray name plate above his number “24”, which is sewn on in navy blue and teal green tackle twill. The left sleeve has a Seattle Mariners circular patch sewn on and the Russell Athletic tag with a “ 2” Extra Length” and “+3 Sleeve End” flags attached. There is a white patch with “1993” in black below the Russell tag. Griffey signed his name in black marker below his number on the back of the jersey and inscribed “#24”. This jersey shows light use and comes with a LOA from Ken Griffey Jr. for the game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A89191) for the signature.
